Recipe for Fro-Yo Bites
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt or plain nonfat Greek yogurt
Pink color: 1 cup strawberries
Purple color: 1 cup blackberries or blueberries
Use a small flexible silicone mold for best results. Look for fun molds such as Lucentee Silly ice cube trays with figure molds and building bricks molds that look like Legos. (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41EB2U5n%2BXL.jpg). Or these Disney princess molds
Step1: For pink, blend together 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt or nonfat Greek yogurt with 1 cup chopped strawberries in food processor or blender. For purple, blend together 1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt or nonfat Greek yogurt with 1 cup blueberries or blackberries in food processor or blender.
Step 2: Fill the molds with your yogurt and run a knife across the surface to remove any excess.
Step 3: Tap the mold on the counter a few times to ensure that the yogurt fills up each mold.
Step 4: Place in your freezer on a flat surface.
Step 5: When you’re ready to pop them out, push from the underside of the mold and serve them immediately or place them back in the freezer.
Step 6: It’s best to eat them within a day or tow after freezing.
